Abstract
We define the chest pain unit as that physical space where it is possible to implement the care protocol for patients with chest pain of cardiac and non-cardiac origin, with the aim of reducing the rate of underdiagnosis with respect to Acute ischemic coronary syndrome and not leaving aside other non-cardiac pathologies, strengthening the «Infarction code» protocol.
