Bouveret’s syndrome is a rare condition that can cause intestinal obstruction, specifically duodenal obstruction caused by the passage of a stone through a fistula. Treatment options can be surgical and endoscopic. Early diagnosis and timely treatment are essential to improve outcomes. We present the case of a 72-year-old man with Bouveret’s syndrome, which was initially treated by endoscopy, without success, and surgical treatment was necessary, with favorable resolution and an adequate evolution. In addition, we conducted a review of recent literature.
