Liposarcoma is one of the most common histologies of soft tissue sarcoma (STS), half of these are retroperitoneal and 25% are of the extremities. Three biological groups are distinguished: well-differentiated and dedifferentiated liposarcomas, pleomorphic liposarcoma and myxoid or large cell liposarcoma. The approach is the same for all subtypes, with tumor resection being the standard of care. We present the case of a middle-aged patient diagnosed with myxoid liposarcoma who underwent wide resection under combined anesthetic technique.
